I want some new, great creative ideas for cakes. Send me your ideas and if I choose your design, you get your "dream" cake made FREE! Submissions must be received no later than May 31, 2010. The winner will be announced June 1st. I'm looking for anything you would love to see done in cake. Color choices, shapes, themes..... whatever you can come up with! We made our own cake once, it would be neat to see a profession version of it.
ReplyDeleteWe used a tonka dump truck as our prop.
the "dirt" was the cake being dumped. We used chocolate cake, but I bet you could be creative with it. We had gummy worms on top of the cake.

What about a purse thats has jewelry and makeup type stuff coming out of it. Or for a baby shower you could do a diaper bag with diapers, bottle binky around it.

Maybe a wolf, the apple, ribbon, Bella's truck... I could go on with alot of ideas for a cake like this! So pick me. ;) lol

I love anything Disney :) I think a cake with all the theme of all the B&W Mickeys would be awesome! I also think a Princess and the Frog cake would be way cute too!
ReplyDeleteMy boys love the outdoors. I would love to see a cute cake with a lake with a fishermen and some cool fish. Another idea, a bug net with colorful bugs inside the net. Like butterflies, lady bugs, bumble bees.

Have you ever seen the video on youtube "the evolution of dance?" If not you should watch it. I think you can make a really cool cake using that video, maybe start at one side of the cake and have it work to the end as the evolution of dance disco, the thriller, walk like and egyptian,hiphop. I think it would be amazing! Also with father's day coming up I think it would be really cool for you to have one presonalized...."things you love about your dad" " or things that makes your dad "yours"" for example if my kids gave this cake to my hubby, he loves and thses things are a major part of his life, football, playing with his kids, family, vacations, seattle, working out, writing, brownies, I think you could make this amazing! Also you know those "barbie cakes" the one where you use a real barbie doll and she is in the center of the cake and the cake is her dress? Well I think it would be really cute if you made one of those ontop of a 2 or 3 teer cake and the doll was a princess and her gown was amazing with detail, and she is ontop of her castle(the teers.) Ok sorry for so many ideas I can go on and on, but here is one more! My kids are really into giraffes, hoppos, monkeys, dolpins, pandas, penguins I think a cake using these animals would be unique and awesome! Hope my ideas are creative enough for you to pick me! ;)
