Cake season begins again

After a much needed break from cakes, I'm finally getting back in the swing of things. I've started to get orders for spring and summer cakes and my calendar is filling up quickly. I'm excited for a sweet 16 cake I have for next weekend. The cake shown below was a perfect way to start. It was for a double birthday party.

Embossed wedding cake

This cake was so enjoyable to make because it had such a unique style with emossed Mahendi shapes highlighted with small crystals.

This was a fun cake for a game night. Half chocolate, half white cake. FUN!

Birthdays and such....

These cakes were for a couple of cute girls' birthdays. Talyssa was turning one and had the tiered princess cake along with the small smash cake, and Josie was turning two and wanted a cake for a small party.

Halloween Birthday Cake

This cake was so fun to make! It was for a Halloween/Birthday/Murder mystery (CLUE) party. I loved making all the little weapons for the cupcake toppers (gun, rope, lead pipe, candlestick, knife, wrench). Makes me want to do some more Halloween cakes, that's for sure!
